why do some goth's like anime ( no offense ) i mean they talk all this stuff about the devil, darkness, and other stuff but they like anime which is a form of chinese art. but why do goth's like anime ?

Anime is Japanese. And there's a lot of talk about demons and stuff in anime. :p

I agree with DarkWolf. Many goths are Christians (like me) or have pagan religions that have nothing to do with the devil. We do admire the beauty in the darkness - so well portrayed by some anime and manga. However, I'd rather reccomend you to read about the Romantic period in Europe (just my opinion).

Mostly teen and younger goths are into anime, a style of Japanese animation. Japanese 'manga', (comics) translates as 'whimsical pictures'. There are manga and anime for every age and taste, just like Western comics and animation. The goths you are talking are probably just people who like anime, something different from the mainstream.

ok one, goth is not about the devil...i should know.
I like anime because the drawings are beautiful, and it allows me to escape into another world at least momentarily. Some anime is dark. I like to read manga.

gothism isn't exclusively about the devil. Try reading about the Renaissance. that is about gothism. We just find more beauty in dark figures than what people are raised to believe. Seriously, Goku as a goth with a trench, now that woulda been a show... =)

maybe goths don't like the world as it is, so they escape to anime, pure fantasy

really?, i have no idea, maybe it is because despite their claims of being these "i hate life"depressed pathetic "dark" people, they still are happy children at heart, are there any dark and depressing anime shows ? They sound confused to me.

well...im not a GOTH but anime can be dark 2.....i mean its like imagination n u can draw anythin n if uve eva been 2 HOT TOPIC ...they have a lot of picture shirts n sum of them have anime on them ....im azian i should no wat anime is
