Where have all the GOOD cartoons gone? What's gone wrong!?! Do you agree?

oh its so hard to choose as I loved the care bears, gummi bears, turtles, power rangers and all the rest... nothing comes to mind when you think about it :(.... I think there all rubbish now a days!

This is actually one of the best times for fans of the old cartoons. Most of them are coming out on DVD or are in syndication. Even the ones that aren't are usually available for download online with some digging.
My personal favorite is Transformers, which has had a tumultuous run. Though the show was canceled in 1987 in the USA, it continued for several more years in Japan. Then in 1996 the first Transformers sequel came out: Beast Wars, a CGI cartoon with great characters and fantastic writing. Since then we've had new Transformers cartoons that, while not as good as the original, at least keep the spirit alive.
So, enjoy the resurgence in popularity of 80s toons. Have fun with your own favorite.

i agree with you . i liked smurfs alot and fraggle rock was an absolute fav , i used to watch ghost busters the cartoon and the elephant show ...

I loooooooooooove Fraggle Rock. I'm in my late 20's now I just went and bought some dvds of them. I wish it was still on tv.

I totally agree. Now all there is is Pokemon and YuGiOh... what happened to all the good cartoons?! And even classic Nick... come on!

The Thunder Cats were the greatest even though I did dress up like She-Ra one halloween and kicked the sh*t out of my male cousin. She fought - thats what I thought you were suppose to do.

What about the old voltron?? I use to have one or 2 of those cats, but I wanted the whole set that formed voltron!
there was also visionaries from back then. every watch them?? =)
I had quite a few of their action figures as a child.
