What should I do to prevent gas during sex?

Hey, I'm having this big, embarrasing problem and i don't know what to do. Everytime I have sex with my boyfriend, I end up pushing air from my vagina. It's really embarrasing and even if my boyfriend hasn't said anything about it, I am worried. i want to stop it. What should I do?

I have had that problem in the past on certain occasions as well--the term for that is called "queefing". Unfortunately it is something that might be a re-occurring problem depending on the situation, but you can take steps to minimize the chance of it happening. It's caused by the man's penis pushing air into the vaginal canal either through the sexual position you're in or him coming out too far and then thrusting back in, bringing air with it. You might want to try different sexual positions. I have noticed that when my husband and I have sex and we are in the "doggy style" position its more likely to happen. You might want to try being on top, or laying side by side (you laying in front of him in a spooning position). Also, try telling him in a non-threatening way to not thrust so hard. If he slows down and makes sure to keep penis-to-vagina contact, the queefing will also diminish. Hope this helps! :)

That is normal yet embarrassing. It is from friction thrusting in of air and when he thrusts inside of you it causes the air to be pushed out. It is not "gas" Dont worry about it. Your man should know what is causing it. Bring it up in a conversation. Tell him that it embarrasses you and I gauruntee he will say that it doesnt bother him.

Girl there is nothing you can do about that!!! It is because air is getting in there while he is inside of you. It's not really gas. It only happens to me when my bf is doing it from behind. Don't be self conscience and enjoy yourself.
