There are several good Belly Dancing tapes available on the internet. Go to www.Google.com and click on "images" before you type in "Belly Dancing". You will find several sites. Target carries Belly Dancing tapes, as well. Personally, I would purchase three different tapes and watch them all. Pick which is best for you. Or take a class from a teacher you find in the Yellow Pages of your San Francisco phone book.

A - depends on what you mean by reasonably priced
B - What kind of middle eastern dance do you want to learn?
C - WHY do you want to learn? (fitness, general education, or LOVE to dance...)
Fat Chance Belly Dance (mentioned in another answer) is ATS or American Tribal Style - while this has the same BASICS as "bellydance" - it's form and function seem to be WORLDS apart... this is GROUP centered rather then individual or soloist centered -
Bellydance can mean a lot of different things - what kind of dance were you thinking of? (What I mean is, who did you see that now you want to learn??) Are you thinking of taking a class just to burn calories - or do you want to learn how to perform?
The answer to all of these questions will send you to the correct teacher
