You need to use a GOOD skin care line. Mary Kay has a great skin care line that also has specific products for acne prone skin. Check out the website at www.marykay.com and you will see all the great products. You should use a medium coverage shade of foundation or just even a pressed powder for natural coverage. If you use the skin care line for oily skin, you will clear up your acne problem by keeping your skin clean and clear of all radicals in the air. Mary Kay isn't any more expensive then what is at the store and best of all, our makeup line and skin care line contain natural botanicals (no retina a or anything along that line). Check it out and let me know what you think. www.marykay.com. Have a great day

Mary Kay has this excellent regemin that you can purchase, used all together, the cleanser, moisturizer, and foundation, all work together to give you clean flawless looking skin. over a week of consistant use you'll notice a reduction in blemishes, dry spots, oily spots, discolored areas, etc.. your skin will begin to feel healthy, and you'll actually be able to see your skin glow and after long term use, you won't even need to wear foundation.

the foundation is great it's medium coverage foundation and feels light weight and doesn't clog your pores. they also carry a light weight pressed powder that works with your foundation to give you a soft matted look.

they also have skin care products for particular skin issues, like acne and rosacea.

check out their website: www.marykay.com

Foundation is really the last step in skin care, it is your protectant from the pollutants in the world, Mary Kay offers a full skin care line, your cleanser will not only cleanse but also exfoliate and freshen your face, and your moisturizer will be lightweight and clean feeling, and the foundations are formulated to work well with the other skin care products so you aren't going to be mixing product brands. Part of the problem is probably you aren't using a foundation that is formulated to work well with your skin care regimen. Please check out my website, and let me know if you have any further questions, at the contact me part of the website.

foundation is not meant to be used as a cover up. It is to even out your skin. For coverage you want to use a concealer. Clinique makes a concealer with salicylic acid which is great. After that try the airbrush foundation by Philosophy. It will blend in great leaving no lines.

L'Oreal True Match Blendable is what I use, it's awesome! It has a matte finish and the coverage is so good I don't always need a concealer on blemishes, but it is very natural looking.

I have been using bare minerals and it works well...less is more when it comes to covering acne and healing, make sure all your applicators are cleaned and disinfected weekly as well. Make sure you are still using a moisturizer even if you have oily skin, because your skil will try to compensate for dryness with oil otherwise.

Try something mineral based like a sheer powder. Before applying foundation though, use an oil free moisturizer first.

Prescriptives make wonderful foundations for all types of skins. They also make custom blend foundation right infront of you to match your skin color and type. You can pick any type of coverage you want. It does not clog your pores either.
