When will the United States be ready for a woman president?

With Commander in Chief on the air, I was curious to see what others thought.

I think the American people are ready for a woman president. I wouldn't VOTE for Hiliary Clinton but I would vote for Condelezza Rice. I think she would make a great president. She would also make a milstone for the United States becasue she would be the first woman president and the first african american president. I hope she runs for office.

Ok, in the most non-sexist way I can possibly say this. I think the United States is ready for a woman president but 1.) She will have to be good because she will set the precedent for future woman. 2.) She should probably be older because even into their 40's women are incredibly emotional.

While I think that women could do a better job than many of the men that have been president in the past i don't really think that society will ever be ready until people learn to get over the belief that women are inferior to men

Woman are too emotional! Anyone with a woman as a manager can see my point on this one...they're either push-overs and too nice trying to please everyone, and in the mean-time, nothings getting done right and people are getting away with doing things wrong in the work place; or they are stingy and cruel and think they have to be "tough" (basically mean) to have anything done, but the end result is unmotivated workers.
I hope a woman never takes office. She'll either end up neglecting America to feed everyone else in the world, or she'll be a complete "Hitler" and bring America's moral down.
That's my opinion anyways! Take it or leave it, but it's out there :)

Well the smartest person in the world is a woman...

I just don't think a woman would get a lot of respect as president. There will always be someone there talking her down.

whenever a woman is ready to be president. Kathleen Blanco pretty much ruined any woman's chance at gaining any office of power.
