No. Only earned vacation days

No.
Unused vacation, according to their individual policies, yes. Some companies have policies in place that allow you to take half your vacation the first half of the year and half the second half. But if you quit in the first half you'll only be paid for the unused vacation from THAT FIRST HALF; thus, you'll lose the second half days. Some companies are a little more lenient with regards to vacation payout.

If you quit or get fired you are not intitled to anting. Now if there is a lay off or management change beyond your control then it could be questioned. I had a company buy out the place that I managed so I went to work for the new owners but I did get all my time paid to me that I accumulated.

It depends on the company. I have gotten paid for my sick days for all except one job. In my opinion, it's better to use the sick days because you get the time and money.

That depends on a few things. If you have a contract, then most likely. If you earned them through overtime, comp time, etc, then yes. And in some instances if you don't give them a 2 week notice, they don't have to give you anything. So I would check your employee manual if you have one and verify the information, or contact your Human Resources Department for more information. Also, the HR Dept. has to keep your inquiries confidential due to confidentiality laws.

Why should they? You don't work there anymore. I would take those sick days and then quit if you want to exstort them like that.

some do some don't. just like some roll over vacation and sick days, and some don't.

i had one company that paid out sick days and vacation days to you if you left and one that didn't.

it's not law. so, you ahve no case if you're trying to get it. however, you do have a case if it's corporate policy and they aren't following that.

hope it works out for you!
take care.
