I have known this girl for 4 years and I have been in love with her since then. But we are just friends to her (I think). How do I tell her my real feelings? I'm so shy! Please! How can I know if she likes me back?

sit really close to her one day, when you watch a movie or something, and make your arms/legs/feet touch, as though accidentally. Then see how she reacts... oh god just come out with it!
Besides, it's been 4 years. I'm sure she knows.

just tell her. or actually if youre REALLY that shy and she has been around you for 4 yrs and still hasnt noticed ( which I doubt) then Dont tell her. She Must know already ( 4 yrs comeon!) and she just isnt interested, otherwise she would have let you know that you have the green light to be bolder!
but try telling her anyway, see what happens

let one of your other friends ask her as if you dont know then after you get sure of the answer you will just have to tell her i love you in a small way like some flowers and a card written on it i love you want to go out with me if she said yes you will have to tell her even if your shie i know that if you love her that much you will do it

You have to take the first step and ask her if there is any possibility of your friendship developing any further. Let her know how you feel maybe she's feeling the same way.
