how do you paginate a Word® document.?

Scroll to the top of the window.

Click on "Insert"
Scroll down to "Page Numbers"
Choose the pagination and you're done.

You may want to bolden them manually, though, as the automatic pagination tends to produce pages that are numbered slightly lighter than standard color text.

You can set up the pages manually by hitting control+Enter whenever you want a page break. Otherwise, go into Page Set-up and give the dimensions of your margins, etc and then you will get automatic page breaks.
