I think that Rodriguez is SEEEEERIOUSLY overrated. c'mon, El Mariachi, From Dusk Till Dawn, Spy Kids, Sharkboy and Lavagirl ...the list of crap just goes on and on and on .....Spaceships taking off from behind an Aztec Pyramid ...you gotta be f...in' kidding me !!! Pleaaaase give this guy a couple of history books and some imagination to write something semi-intelligent.

While their styles are kind of worn out, Rodriguez showed promise with the way he handled Sin City. I liked his work with El Mariachi, but the follow ups, Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico beth steadily declined.
The best suggestion I can give to see their work is to watch the film "Four rooms". Both Taratino and Rodriguez wrote segments for this film. This will give you an idea of their difference in style while being able to compare and contrast their film making abilities.
