You are entering into your puberty stages. Every girl is different. Some start early, like 10 thru 12; while others can be late bloomers and start between 13 thru 18. Vaginal hairs do grow fast once they start. Usually they will grow a certain length and then stop.
Puberty is a tough thing to get over. Other things change within your body such as your monthly menstration (period). Plus some girls begin to form breasts and hair on their legs and arm pits. And acne begins to form. All these things are normal when a girl is in puberty and beyond.

When did you start noticing hair growing? Every girl (like every boy also) starts growing hair there at different ages. Some start as early as 8 or 9 years old and others don't start until they're maybe 14. I started growing hair around 13. But, don't freak out, it's normal, and it won't be the only change you start noticing. If you haven't started your period yet, you probably will soon. Also, underarm hair, pimples, breasts, and mood swings (sometimes) are on their way too.

hi. I used to be 12 a few years ago....I HAD SO MUCH HAIR or my vagina......My hair does grow fast and if you are a dark person or have a light skin and dark hair you would propably have to shave alot when you're older.....But for now just shave off the sides where you bikini line is...or you could use some type of hair removal creme(for that's better in that area that a razor)

in 3rd grade so age 8-9 you have to got to the DR for a check up and they look at your genitalia to make sure it looks right...when i got home my mom said that the DR saw some pubic hair down there and she wanted to see...i ran away embarrassed even though i had no idea what she was talking about
i had a ton of hair down there when i was 10 and got my period when i was 11
I am Italian and my whole family has a ton of hair everywhere so i think that probably plays a role
some girls just develop faster then other...nothing to worry about...you are totally normal!!!!!

wanted to add....DO NOT SHAVE DOWN THERE!!!! it will just make the hair grow more quickly and a lot thicker!!!!!! I know from personal experience!!!! I use to shave my happy tail...the hair under your belly botton that leads down to your vagina....it looks like a mans now...so do yourself a favor and dont shave it...until you are much older and have to

Aww man I got pubes when I was 9 1/2, you must just be maturing like most normal girls do at the ages of 11-13. I got my period when I just turned 11 so I know what it's like to feel weird or embarassed about getting pubic hair, just start getting used to shaving it so you can wear a bikini.

Oh honey it is normal and you are about at the right age. Dont worry. But...I want you to always remember this day when you asked that question because in about 10 years you will look back and wish that this was all you had to worry about still, Enjoy your innocents now while you can.

Yes, this is normal, every girl develops at different ages, i wouldn't be too concerned, i started when i was 9 and by the time i was 13 i was pretty much already developed

that is ery normal. i got hair in my vagina when i was 10 or so. your friends will have hair soon. if they are bothering u, cut it. but just a little bit cuz or else it will scratch. your hormones are faster than your friend's. soon ull get menses and other grownup gilz stuff. dont worry it is veeeery normal

Every girl is different. you are at the age to start growing pubic hair. I am sure some of your friends have just as much . don't sweat it.

I dont remember what age I got hair but its normal. You could just be developing quicker than others.
