I love them! I discovered them about three years ago and have not been able to resist going back and rereading my favorite parts whenever I get the urge, ever since.

I'm in the middle of a real reread right now, including my first reread of "A Breath of Snow and Ashes." I read that whole thing in a little over 29 hours when it came out last September - so I'm definitely finding parts that I didn't remember, which is wonderful!

Diana Gabaldon's writing never ceases to amaze me. Jamie and Claire could be real people, the way she writes them. She never shies away from a topic because it might be controversial or "who wants to read that much about diaper changing?"

And, if he wasn't already married to Bree; I'd want Roger. Tall, dark and handsome - check. Intelligent - check. Funny - check. Cute, Scottish accent - check. Yeah, I'd take him.

There is definitely an Internet fan base for Outlander. The Ladies of Lallybroch are probably the largest and best known. Diana has even been known to lurk from time to time - and has given them credit on the acknowledgments page of the last two books. She is also a forum leader over at the CompuServe writer's forums.

I have read all of her books in the Outlander series. I just love Clair and Jamie Frazier. I think there is going to be one more, but I don't know when it will be written or released. It will probably focus more on Briana and Roger. I can't wait til it comes out. Have you checked out Diana Gabaldon's website?

I read them all, actually ate them up... they are pretty long books. I enjoyed them and I thought the whole concept and time travel was really cool but I really did feel bad about Jaime nearly dying about 2-3 times per book. But over all great reading material, I liked how they would use real life charachters like the White Witch of Rose Hall in Jamiaca.

I loved these books, but I found the later one called "Cross of Fire" was a little too tedious for me. I think there is one more after that and I'm going to try to read it this summer.
