You could be ovulating, or you could be getting ready to start your period. I know I get cramps when I ovulate, and 2 day before I start my period.

If u have cramps, that means your period will come in 1 year.

Sometimes you can get cramps during ovulation.

I usually get a couple of ouchy ones a week or so before my period starts, too.

Also, maybe your cramps are coming a few hours before it starts. It sounds normal.

Take a couple of Advil and a bath or shower and calm down. Your body can usually handle the natural stuff on its own.

If it gets a lot worse or doesn't get ANY better after your advil and bath, maybe talk to your mom, older sister or a health clinic for advise.

I heard it referred to as a "ghost cycle" you could be pregnant.
