I think you should start by keeping your distance a bit. I think you should make other friends and spend time with them. Just try to get out of it little by little. Less calls, less get togethers, maybe even take a class dancing or in something else that she will not join you in.
That way the distance will become more and more, until the day you guys don't' get to hang out very much.
If she confronts you in a very angry or whatever tone, just be calm, nice & friendly. Tell her that you guys have drifted apart and maybe you don't have much in common anymore. But you still like her and consider her a friend. This may still bite you in the butt, if she decides to spread gossip there's not much you can do but just ride it out, hang out with new friends, whatever.
Whatever damage she could do, you're so much better off without her being around you, you will be happy and it will be worth it, just be strong. You deserve good, positive, supporting friends in your life.
Take care. If you need a good defense to fight rumors, or whatever she throws your way, you can always contact me, or post another question, just be ready.

The best thing is to be honest and tell her straight out. Any thing other than that would be leading her on. If you are really serious about letting her go as a friend, be firm, but polite. Don't disrespect the friendship you two have shared. At your age, you may find that in a little while you might want to regain her as a friend. And it is ok if you don't. At this stage in your life, you will grow and change, so your likes and dislikes will change as well. This extends to friends. Just don't burn a bridge. And, being the better person builds character... Good luck.

Just tell her that if she doesn't clean up her act, you will stop being friends with her. You don't need friends who boss you around all the time.

u can just be mean to her back and ask her how it feels. If she says that she is sorry for being like that. Ask her to change her attitude and move on with life.

Just don't be around her. Don't talk to her on the phone and walk away from her when she tries to talk to you. Tell her you don't have time to talk to her. She'll get the message.
