you know i was 15 when i got pregnant (now i am 17) and i was on the pill so i tried to prevent it but it didnt work so i took the responsibility to take care of my 7 month old daughter. I am a very responsible young lady. Some teenagers are wonderful parents just because were young doesnt mean we cant do it, i am doing a wonderful job. I had alot of experience with kids because i helped raise my 2 nephews since they were born when i was 11 so just because were young doesnt mean we cant do it. so i think its acceptable because i know what its like and i have 3 other friends my age who have babies and we are all wonderful parents. And i gave up my life for her its not like i have my mom babysit all the time. Ive gone maybe 5 times to hang out with a friend or two for an hour or two within the last 7 months, every where else i go i take her. so thats my opinion

Here is the deal.
Nobody gets pregnant with out knowing how it happened and what they could have done to stop it. If you got a girl pg and now you don't want to have anything to with her you are the bad person. Parents these days don't hold their kids responsible for their actions enough at an early age for them to understand.
Do I feel that it is right for a 16 year old to raise a kid? NO, but if the kid is dumb enough to let another dumb kid have sex with her and not use protection it becomes their fault. It is not fair to expect the grandparents to raise the dumb 16 year old and he grandchild. The only other options are adoption and abortion. Both of them have a place in society and stupidity is not it.
If your 16 with child learn to deal with your own problems. It will help you in the long run.

Why do people think it's acceptable for them to get pregnant in the first place??? They're not even old enough to open a bank account or buy a car on their own, much less bring a new life into the world.

I don't know anyone who thinks that a teen is grown up enough to parent their babies. I don't think that there are to many now a days that are having babies. maybe I'm just out of the knowledge of whats going on but I live in a town where it had been the thing but the teens in this town have now learned from the Gen. before and are now making abstinence the popular thing.

When I got pregant I wanted my baby and my parents wanted their grandson...acceptable? tolerance? For me, get a job, finish school, and take responsibily for my poor choice of activities. (Having sex before marriage) 44 years later my son is awesome. Oh, by the way I got married and had 2 girls. They're also awesome. My parents would have preferred me to have waited for just the right man and to get married, but as most teenagers, I was smarter than them, and it only happens to others not me.
There are many options in life...sometimes good - sometimes bad...but we all need to be accountable for our own actions. AND RESPONSIBLE

I agree. i'm 28 and by no ability a lot as had a being pregnant scare. I knew that intercourse=toddler and started the pill earlier I ever had intercourse. i in my opinion don't have self assurance all the "It became an twist of destiny" stuff in view which you have no longer have been given intercourse by twist of destiny. i'm a instructor and that i see the hardships that those infants, raised by young infants pass by. I basically want youth could desire to comprehend that by having a toddler they are determining directly to cut back to rubble yet another persons existence. Their newborn's. It makes me sick as quickly as I hear of candy sixteen having toddlers on objective as properly. What the heck are they thinking? heavily, no possible desire to could desire to pay for you blunders, fairly no longer a newborn. Please comprehend i'm speaking approximately youthful young infants. no longer 18 and 19 12 months olds. i comprehend some teen mothers who did very good jobs even even though it became complicated for them and their infants. There are continually exceptions.

Probably because they think that if they're physically ready to have a kid, they think they're emotionally ready to. They're not. They're not even legal adults yet!

If they were grown enough to open their legs then they should be grown enough to parent their child
