The easy way to remember this is to memorize the

3 4 5

right triangle. You will notice that any two multiples of the above will give you the other leg as a multiple. The theorem is

A^2 + B^2 = C^2, so 3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2, hence 9 + 16 = 25

now you have

2*3 2*4 thus your other leg is 2*5

6^2 + 8^2 = 10^2, which is 36 + 64 = 100

as for the angles, use the law of sines

sin(90)/5 = sin(a)/3 = sin(b)/4

so a = asin(sin(90)*3/5) = ~37 deg

hence angles of 90 53 37

Hypotenuse = (opposite)^2 + (adjacent)^2.

So (6)^2 + (8)^2 = (100)^(1/2) = 10.

Sin = opposite/hypotenuse

Cos = adjacent/hypotenuse

Tan = opposite/adjacent

Sec = hypotenuse/opposite

Csc = hypotenuse/adjacent

Cot = adjacent/opposite

Those are the formulas. Do your own calculations.

the hypotenuse will be 10.
Because 6^2+8^2=n^2

Let BC and CA be legs of the triangle and C is right angle
Then,

sinA=6/10=3/5
cos A=8/10=4/5
tanA=6/8=3/4

Hypotenuse=10 Adjacent angle=36.87 Opposit angle=53.13
Hypotenuse: a^2 + b^2=c^2
Angles: Sin(a)=opposite/hypot will give you the first angle. Since all the angles of a triangle=180 and you have a right triangle, then 180-90-36.87=final angle.

3-4-5 is a Pythagorean Triple. Therefore, 6-8-10 (sides multiplied by a factor of 2) must aslo be a Pythagorean Triple.

tanA = opposite/adjacent
tanA = 6/8
tanA = 3/4
A = tan^-1(3/4)

sin(tan^-1(3/4)) = 6/x
x = 6/(sin(tan^-1(3/4)))
x = 6/(.6)
x = (60/6)
x = 10

another way to do this is

a^2 + b^2 = c^2
8^2 + 6^2 = c^2
64 + 36 = c^2
100 = c^2
c = 10

Ok...let me see. a2 + b2 =c2, thus 64 + 36 = 100, so the answer is the square root of 100, which is 10.

hyp = 10. All of the angles? 90, something, and something. I don't know anything about the law of sines. Go check it out.
