I've heard Ohio State, Notre Dame, even West Virginia? (I root for Penn State!).

Ohio State has a good returning team. USC and Texas will be right in the mix as well, with strong recruiting classes. An early season game between Texas and Ohio State at Texas could decide early which one of those two teams makes it to the BCS championship game. Look out for Florida, though, in the second year of Urban Meyer's leadership. Chirs Leak is a senior and potential Heisman winner. Same with Oklahoma looking to bounce back with Adrian Peterson. At this point, I'd have to go with USC still.

Notre Dame will win this year. Brady Quinn is now a senior. He was also a finalist for the heisman. They almost beat USC last year. They also have the best tight end Jeff Samardjia

Dark Horse Pick: Michigan

Only because they were the worst U-M football team in 20 years. They've got a 3rd year QB, 3rd year RB, and a LOT of motivation to shut people up.

And I went to Michigan State... So as much as I hate to say it: Michigan is going to have a solid year.

Here's an interesting thought....No one has mentioned Oklahoma too much except for Athlon magazine and I tend to agree! Peterson's coming back, their O-line is iintact except for one man, Bomar is back at QB (hopefully learning his lesson), defense is solid, no problems in special teams....could be a very big year in Norman!

Auburn has a good schedule to make a run at it. Their tough games are at home, and with the addition of Muschamp at defensive coordinator, they should have one of the best coaching staffs in the country.
