Violence isn't the answer, changing the system is. You need to include the physical address, email address, or the fax# for the Board of Pardons and Parole, for the Utah Prison System.

That is where You would like People to voice Their outrage. So that when People read this story, GOD Bless those who take the time, can write and send Their objections to the possibility of this Person being paroled after such a short period of time. That is what You are wanting, You are asking for support, in wanting this Person to pay a higher price, for what He has done. For the devastation, He has committed.

Justice for Darius, (Buddha).

Also, there are already laws on the books, for harm caused by a Motor Vehicle, serious harm/and or Death. Most People are probably not aware of what the Laws are until it happens to them. It used to be that if a Person were to be killed by an Motor Vehicle, it was only considered to be an Accident. Now there are laws in place that Better protect the Public. That is another area that You would like to see changed. For that, You would have to have People write the Governor, Lt. Governor, Congressmen, and Senators, of Your State, so it would be helpful for You to include those addresses.

(The addresses have now been included on Love's 360 page.)

I call on Everyone that has Love in Thier Heart, and the Blessing of a Child, to read this story, reach out, and help.

God Bless the Smith Family, God Bless You Mom, You Have Been the Heart, the Strength, and the Rock of this Family, and Their Recovery, You too Dad.

Here is how You can help, Write to the address below and voice Your outrage. Your outrage for the death of a six year old beautiful young Man, and the devastation and injury caused physically and emotionally to an entire Family. The injury that was caused by an enraged, drunken, angry, and violent Person. Who has currently served only 15 months, and could be up for Parole in 2007.

How much is the life of a Child worth, how much time would Someone need to Serve, for, God forbid, a Child you know?

Help get Justice for Buddah (his nickname), Darius
Write to, and voice Your disapproval to;

Utah Board of Pardons
448 East 6400 South Suite 300
Murray, Utah 84114

And You can send a letter to;

Govenor, or Lt. Govenor of the State of Utah
Utah State Capitol Complex
East Office Building Suite E2220
Salt Lake City, Utah 84114

You can voice Your concerns, and please include that Darius's Memorial was removed by Magna Canal, from an empty lot, when other Memorials in the Area were left untouched.

Please take the time to read the Story, the Story was written by the area Newspaper. And please take the time to Help by writing a letter, 29 cents, and twenty minutes................

Wouldn't You want Someone to Help You?

Reading this seriously touched my heart, it brought about tears even. I don;t understand why they didn't charge him with murder, an innocent child's life was lost, what more needs to be done. The only nonviolent suggestion of justice i can give would be to keep writing letters perhaps try to get a law passed (i'm not exactly sure what it would be), just do what you have to do to get this story out there. Make people become more aware of the fact that racism still exists in these days and now because of this racism innocent children and there parents are suffering. It's not right. Something has to be done.

First, I must say that I am sorry for your loss...I can not even begin to imagine how this would make a person act...

Second...it is time to start the healing processs...

Third....each time this person comes up for parole....go to the parole hearing..let the parole board know the circumstances that your family has been put in because of the acts of the drunk driver....

The family should have been allowed to speak at the trial..that is one of the victims rights....

Last...

LET GO AND LET GOD DO THE REST!!!!

If you trust the courts for justice, then you have to accept their rulings.

If my family is harmed, I don't trust the courts to deal fairly with those who harm them. I will take justice to the guilty.

The OJ Simpson case should point this up. The system broke the day they released him.

i am not too sure of how i might react in such an emotional situation

suffice it to say, that you friend is going to be better off in the long run if he puts his mind to work on forgiveness rather than justice

The present justice system, regardless of results, works well.
