What do people expect from young ladies?

What do they expect to see? This inlcudes behavior,looks, and manners. And anything else that you think, those were only suggestions.

First and foremost, Pengss, people expect young ladies to be themselves. By this I mean to not copy favorite celebs such as Thalia.

After this people expect to see many things such as the things you mentioned: good manners like speaking quietly in public places and not having a cell phone on you ear all the time; look and dress like a young lady by avoiding too much make-up and to avoid revealing clothing; wear a smile on your face; say "Yes sir" and "Yes ma'am" to adults; and people expect you to not use swear words.

Society expects very different things from "ladies". SOme people still think women should be in the kitchen, at hone raising babies, and seen but not heard. Some people think women have earned the right to be independent and should work for a living.

The thing to remember is that many women before you have died and sacrificed their place in society so that you can vote, speak up for yourself, go to school, learn to read, and just about anything else you can think of. Women were considered property for many centuries by many cultures, including America. Do what would make those women who worked so hard for you to have rights proud!!! Never forget that it wouldn't take much for the tables to turn and you to be placed right back into "slavery".
