Im a manager for Plumbase ltd (240 branches nationwide) Go into your local branch and ask the staff for names of local companies/ one man bands who may be able to offer some work experience. In the meantime, your local colledge/university will be running evening schools.

just a bit of advice, a lot of companies dont take on any apprentices because of insurance purposes, so just check before hand that you will be insured, just incase. take care
