Because he's funny.
When he was a Met, he was so excited after Robin Ventura's playoff walk-off grand-slam that he ran out onto the field and tackled Ventura after he rounded first.
Ventura never finished rounding the bases, and was credited with the only known playoff "Grand Single" in baseball history.

Andruw Jones. He steps up when he needs to (like last year when chipper got hurt), and he makes amazing plays in center.

I love their entire pitching staff....But Smoltz is my favorite. I do, however, miss Tom Glavine.
And Bobby Cox is a great manager.
