whoever does say SLAYER or SOUNDGARDEN or better JUDAS PRIEST or... man theres so much other stuff out there thats loads better and all you can like is a bunch of whining talentless tasteless bands?i mean the three i named are acts from the 70s, 80s and 90s and i still listen to them even if its the millionth time cuz i never grow tired.

I'd rather listen to 80s hair bands than linkin park or limp bizkit. Also, European and South American metal bands like Angra, Helloween, Shaman, Edguy, Stratovarius, etc.
And I definitely do not listen to (c)rap.
And I thing any "performer" who cannot perform live and has to lip synch needs to get off the stage, no matter how much hype they get.

Classical music is where it's at. If it has to be rock, though, I'd have to say that Queen, Van Halen, Jethro Tull, and other bands from the past rule. I can't stand modern music.

I used to be that way at first and hated Linkin Park, but they are actually good. They take a lot of time and hard work and make good sounding music. Mike Shinoda, that dude could rap!

linkin park and limp bizkit are just overly commercialized, not very good bands. "Rock" that gets played on most radio stations is really just another genre of Pop, and quality is not to be expected from pop.
