Like how do you get cool backgroungs and hair and stuff?

First go to http://avatars.yahoo.com then login with your yahoo account name and password.
Create your cartoon avatar.
Save the changes.
Then come back to http://answers.yahoo.com and then click on your name thats in blue hyperlink. Then right above the category where you have all your questions that you have asked, there is an EDIT MY INFO link next to your profile.
Click on Edit my Info and under Pictures there is a way you can switch to your avatar picture for Yahoo Answers.
If you have trouble, just click on my name and contact me.

Click on your Avatar picture in your e-mail and it will take you to "home" and you can click on apparel,backgrounds etc. etc.

when u check your mail there will be a black and white square. when you click there that's how you could design your own avatar.
