My most exciting movie of all time was "Raiders of the Lost Ark" I still watch it every time it comes on TV and I have the DVD also. I also love "Close Encounters of The Third Kind"". I watch it over and over. Then I love all of the Star Wars movies and have them all on DVD. Every year or so I will have a Star Wars Fest and watch all 6 movies back to back with a huge bowl of popcorn.
For comedies my all time favorite is "Which Way is Up' starring Richard Pryor.

If you like an unusual comedy, I recommend the 1980 movie, "Wholly Moses." Here is a brief synopsis:
Harvey and Zoey, two tourists travelling through Israel, discover an ancient scroll describing the life of Herschel, the man who was almost Moses. Herschel receives the command from God to free his people from Egyptian slavery, but Moses keeps blundering by and taking all the credit. Several other biblical stories, such as Lot and his wife, David and Goliath, and the miracles of Jesus, are also parodied in this story of the life of a man trying to follow the path to God, but somehow always seeming to lose his way.
Dudley Moore .... Harvey Orchid/Herschel
Laraine Newman .... Zoey/Zerelda
James Coco .... Hyssop
Paul Sand .... God's Angel
Jack Gilford .... Tailor
Dom DeLuise .... Shadrach
John Houseman .... The Archangel
Madeline Kahn .... The Witch
David L. Lander .... The Beggar
Richard Pryor .... Pharaoh
John Ritter .... Satan (The Devil)
Richard B. Shull .... Jethro
Tanya Boyd .... Princess
Ruth Manning .... Landlady
Walker Edmiston .... God (voice)
Andrea Martin .... Zipporah
Stan Ross .... Mohammed
The movie is a riot.
Another great (relatively unknown) comedy is the movie, "Yellowbeard," a British release, starring Graham Chapman, Peter Boyle, Cheech and Chong.

I always suggest "The Sure Thing" but tat is not for you.
You need something a little darker like "Heathers".
Here's a list of what you might enjoy.
Yellowbeard (A merger of Monty Python and Cheech and Chong)
Amazon Women On The Moon
Ed Woods
Dogma
Barton Fink
Four Rooms
A Long Kiss Goodnight
Cannibal The Musical (You said out of the ordinary)
Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD
The Toxic Avenger
Spun
Blow
Envy
Frankenstien Unbound
8mm
Crimes of Passion
Grosse Pont Blanke
I could keep going on but I have see so many movies that you would spend a month in your house with no time to sleep.

You seem to like drug related movies (Probably because they are all trippy and it's funny- Fear and Loathing/ Cheech and Chong) But for some other drug movies that are really good are 1. Blow and 2. Pulp Fiction.
To answer the weird movie category I have 1. A Beautiful Mind and 2. Fight Club.
And a really out of the ordinary movie that is kinda funny is Lock, Stock, and two Smoking Barrels

The Big Lebowski-starring Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Julianne Moore, and Steve Buscemi. It's about a laid-back Los Angeles bowler named Jeff Lebowski, nicknamed "The Dude",who is beaten up by thugs who let him know that his wife owes money to Jackie Treehorn. One problem remains; The Dude has never been married and has never heard of Jackie Treehorn. It is a really funny (and bizarre) movie. Also, any Mel Brooks or Monty Python movies, such as "History of the World" and "A Fish Called Wanda".

I love the Harry Potter, X-men, and Spiderman movies (I also like "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe" and quite a few chick flicks and family movies) but I decided to give you some more suggestions:
For comedy: "The Perfect Man" is a good movie. Also, "Fat Albert" is really goofy, but I LOVE it!
For very out of the ordinary:"The Village" is a very good, mysterious, kind of spooky movie! Also, "Cursed" is okay (it's about werewolves) and "Van Helsing" (It's about vampires) is just kind of wierd, but, who knows? You might like it.
