My chinchillas are grey, mom gave birth to two healthy chins 8 weeks ago. All chins are happy and healthy. Male babies are being kept, but I would like to find mom and dad a happy new home where they will be loved and cared for

You cannot sell live animals on eBay, sorry. :-)

I would advertise in your local newspapers. Don't be afraid to hold to your higher price. This discourage bargain-hunters (who often times are the same people who don't want to fork out the money for vet care, proper caging, etc)

Also contact chinchilla clubs, small pet groups, etc in your region. These are the best homes for your babies. They're usually more educated about the chin's needs, don't mind paying for a healthy baby, and they'll place more value on the animal (it's not just a disposable petshop impulse buy for them)

There's a website on Chinchillas and Hedgehogs.. Where they have forums for sales, give aways (adoptions) etc...

Shoot, the websites at home.. But it's called Quills and Chins or something like that... Search it one Google and find one, it should work perfectly for you to sell your Chin babies!

I would love to have them. But, this is not the place to try to buy items from people. I would look into a pet store, sometimes they will buy pets and items off of the common shopper. You probably won't get as much as you wanted for them though. When my cat got out and got pregnant, I was able to sell the kittens to Uncle Bill's Pet Store and some to Super Pets. I was able to get enough for the kittens to get my cat fixed and some other products for her.

I wouldn't try to sell it here, probably against the regs anyhow, and you never know who hangs out in here.........some straaaaaaaaaaange cookies, I tell ya. However, go to petfinder.com. They have a classified section where you can post a free ad, but no picture. Make sure you ask enough to keep weirdos from buying them just for the heck of it or to resell them to a lab. Good luck!
Btw, it's illegal to sell live animals on eBay.

300.00 for the pair. Most gray chinchillas sell for 150.00 each! Put them in the paper. You can't sell animals on E-bay.

Do you live near a zoo? Maybe they are looking for chins to add to the zoo family.
