A girl that really likes my brother wants to know why he doesn't like her...well the truth is she is heavy and my brother thinks that she is unnatractive but he tells her that they are just better friends..which she doesnt believe..so she grills me constantly to the point of annoying me....so im thinking I should tell her the truth to get her to stop...what should I do?

It's too bad that your brother is so shallow, Derek. He might be missing out on something wonderful.
I agree with Melissa L. Talk with your brother about the situation and ask him to talk to her. You should not be put in the middle of this situation. And it will give the young woman at least one chance to talk to your brother about what is important to her.

Remove yourself from the situation. You should not be in the middle of this. If she grills you and you're frustrated with her, your response will most likely hurt her more than help her. It is not up to you to fight your brother's battles, because when it comes to matters of the heart, no answer you give her will be good enough. Since it was he who pointed out that they make "better friends", he needs to be that friend now and talk to her.

Tell your brother to be "A Man", and tell her the truth. I'm sure if your brother gave her a chance, she would rock his world. She deserves better anyway. Any mature person knows that there's more to a girl/woman than her outward looks.

Don't tell her that. It wouldn't be polite... it's kind of rude. Maybe she's just flirting. You could always just tell him that he doesn't like her in that way. That he simply doesn't like her that way, that he was telling the truth..
But if he does like her, and just doesnt want to go out with her because of her looks, then that's stupid...

NO I wouldn't tell her that... there are other things you can tell someone besides that. That could hurt her feelings.. she obviously knows she's fat. Just tell her that he just isn't into her.. or say he likes some other girl.
It isn't really your responsibility to have to answer for your brother anyways.

No I dont think you should tell her that. Its just not right. You should just tell her straight out that he doesn't like her in that way and he is not joking and there is nothing that can be done. Say he just doesn't like you in that way, period.

just talk to your bro about it, and tell him that if he doesnt tell her that he dont like her in that way then she's gonna keep on thinking that there is a chance for her to be his gf

please dont do that! its going to ruin her self esteem and confidence and whoknows maybe she'll get depressed and turn anorexic..just tell her that they shud stay friends and sometimes it takes time for something more to develop that buys u some time. Its HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE to just flat out tell a girl thats why someone wont date her! trust me it happened to me and girls i know in high school and we werent even fat! pls dont hurt this girls feelings like that!

just tell her (or your brother should tell her) that she's simply "not his type" (don't say why -- that'll offend her.) or you could say "my brother likes to go out with dumb bimbos" a little critic will add spice to it. and she will feel less offended.
