It is quite possible that that's what's happening to you. I had an ectopic pregnacy several years ago that that's what happened to me. I had stabbing pains in both shoulders, in the front. I was stubborn about it and didn't get it checked out at the doctor's office for a week. What happened was, I was bleeding internally, due to the baby bursting through the tube. By the time I finally went in, I had a fever of 104 and it hurt really bad. I almost died. I lost 3 pints of blood. They had to remove the tube, baby (which wasn't quite two weeks old) and the ovary (which had a huge cyst wrapped around it. I went on to recover, and six months later, was pregnant again. I delivered a very healthy baby boy, 10 pounds one ounce! Three years later I delievered an 8 pound 9 ounce girl. Both were delievered normally with no problems (other than a moderate case of jaundice in both). I tell you all of this to let you know two things. First, go to the doctor NOW! Second, even if you lose one ovary & tube, you can still have babies normally and perfectly healthy. So, what are you waiting for girl....call the hospital and tell them you're coming in right NOW! Hope all is well for you. <*)))><

I wish I had this 2 years ago when I damaged my rotator cuff while showing off. This is very detailed and really gives you the techniques you need to sort out your own shoulder issues and a lot more info such as preventing further injuries. If you have a shoulder keeping you awake at night you'll know it's no laughing matter.

if you sleep with your arms not at your side (when sleeping on your back), your muscles get relaxed and separate. This is not good and you will experience pain and develope a "bad shoulder" b/c of it. Instead, sleep with your arms at your side when laying in your back. Congrats on the pregnancy!!

Go to the doctor. Don't ask questions to people that really don't know the answer. It could mean the difference between a healthy or unhealthy baby.

Best to take your doctor's advice instead of looking at the bunch of answers and books.

Ask your doctor, not a bunch of ppl on a website. If it's a serious problem, you could be in trouble if you wait because someone on here says don't worry about it.

may the child be born healthly, and if you are that worried, go to a doctor and tell him of your shoulder pain.

Sounds like a good question for your doctor. If he says it's nothing try getting a prenatal massage, they are great!
