I can't seem to stay on task today, and the 4 Diet Cokes don't seem to be doing the trick. Any suggestions to make me feel like working? Other than the possibility that I could be fired.... 'cause I already know that and it hasn't motivated me yet!

Sorry I can't help you with your dilemma - I am having the same problem. I have had the same pile of paperwork in front of me since 9am this morning! LOL

Well, I would say take a ten minute break(if possible) and go for a brisk walk. Sometimes a little excercize can make me feel refreshed and motivated. If you cant do that. Do some stretching or something besides your job for a few minutes, then come back to what you were doing. You may just need a vacation!(or more sleep at night) I hope I helped!

I feel the same way. I've been surfing all day (computer). I have some work to do, but am not motivated. Maybe something in the air today?

Maybe a quick walk, or some stretching. If you can't do any of those, try eating a fruit and avoid the caffeine if you can. Overall, caffeine will give you a quick burst of energy but won't help you long-term.

I agree with you today is going by so slow and i can't stay motoivated at all either. I need a Red Bull to get my energy kicking.

eat a banana. think of something nice. make plans for later. ask someone to go to the movies or something. if your feeling good and looking foward to something, you'll want to get work done quicker.
