I am starting up a foundation to help underprivilaged turtles in their walk through life. I am not sure what they need most, homes or clothes. Your input would be deeply appreciated. Please Help as soon as you can.

Look at all these people being all depressing and junk, oh, it's dead.... Aaahhh!! We don't wanna hear that! It's a naked turtle and that's sexy! I'll whip out my sewing machine and get started on some clothes... Maybe a little mansion for them too!

Since a turtle migrates for most of its natural life, I would say a turtle needs a safe environment in which to thrive. Protecting the environment would be the best bet here. Good luck in your endeavors, and kudos for the sentiment!

You can start by helping save the sea turtles.

People can also save turtles and help them out by leaving them alone in their enviroment. Don't bring them home as pets. They prefer to be wild. Plus, people get bored after a few months and they end up getting some deadly fungus from a dirty cage. Or starve to death.

You are trying to help turtles in their walk through life?? People think up the strangest organizations for animals that don't give a rat's tiny azz about you when there are people in the world homeless, suffering and dying ...way to go!!

They need a shell for both,but clothes are not that important because it is only inportant to humans[clothes].Also,if has no shell it will die in less than a day and besides,the shell grows with turtle so the shell almost never gets removed.

It's vulnerable. A turtle's shell is what keeps it from getting eaten by most other animals. Don't worry about getting the poor things homes or clothes. Get them some 12 guages! (Oh, and opposable thumbs.)

I have just found a spotted-turtle today in my front yard. It would be considered homeless. The turtle's shell is its home.

If you forgot your clothes one day would you be naked or homeless? I would go with naked on that one.
