A giant hug that keeps on squeezing all day, happiness, a flutter in my heart at the sound of his voice, the sight of his smile, his scent, the touch of his hand, a rainbow in the sky, the silhouette of a couple dancing on the beach at sunset, new hope, warmth, a giggle echoing in my mind, a hand in mine, telling me I can go on, I'm not alone, I'll be okay, a racing heart, a racing mind, a glance in my direction, the first thing I feel in the morning, and the last thing at night. Everything.

As with all human emotional response, love is a state of mind. You can be temporarily insane just as you can be temporarily in love. People create this state. Interestingly, people don't usually fall in love with someone while they are with them. It is when they are alone and they are thinking about that person and how much fun they have and great they are. Sadly many relationships fail because in the process of creating this state of mind the person becomes much more (in their mind) than they really are.

Love is to be perfectly comfortable with someone.
To wake up next to them every morning and smile just to see their face.
To be able to watch them do the same thing every day and never get tired of it.
To have someone make you supremely happy, even when they make you sad (which is rare).
To never run out of things to talk about or jokes to tell each other.
To learn to enjoy the quirks you never thought you'd get past.
Love is the ultimate friendship.

Love is a verb. In the sentence "I love you", love is the verb or action word. So to me, love is what someone will do for me, or what I will do for them. Love is more than a feeling.
