Name one or more super-human powers that actually exist?

Many animals have abilities that would be considered super to humans. Things like regeneration, flight, and ability to tolerate different temperatures. when we know more about genetic es in humans there maybe a time that we could adapt these abilities to humans. It is certainly a consideration for living on other planets.

But it is possible to use your muscles more efficiently if the right chemicals were present in your body. People during times of stress have shown increase abilities to to incredible feats of strength.

Also some people have uncanny abilities to see and hear things that others do not normally hear or see. Same with the brain some brains are just wired to me more efficient with things like problem solving, ability to remain calm in stressful times. Abilities to slow your heart rate to a very low level has been done by some monks that are very disciplined in meditations.

Non there is no such thing as an super human. Sure we have humans with great speed, strength, endurance, resistance to pain, heat, cold, and other abnormalities but as for my definition of super human power non, I would say the closest is the humans physic abilities. but I don't see any Jean Grey or Professor X around anytime soon.

If a human can do it then it is no longer super human. One would have to be from another planet superior to us here on earth. If there is no other life out there then there would be no super humans to worry about only humans that excell at different events.

Super-human means above and beyond the capabilities of humans. If some human possesses a power, by definition it can be super-human.

Actually humans do have have super powers however the ant does. Ant can lift incredible amounts of weight over and above thier own body weight. Talk about super ant.

Super-human means it must be super-natural. And since anything supernatural breaks the laws (theory actually) of thermodynamics (like mind reading or ESP) then they cannot exist.

In Buddhism there is much talk made of Iddhi, Supernormal powers that are attained when one reaches the higher levels of Meditation. They include: Producing mind created bodies form your physical form, Making the many bodies back into just one physical body,to become invisible and reappear,the ability to walk through walls,to be able to dive into the Earth as if into water,to be able to walk on water, the ability to levitate, the ability to read minds, the ability to recall past lives,the ability to see the passing away and reappearance of beings, ( seeing their rebirths.),and the attainment of Nibbana. However, I must admit that the Buddha forbade his disciples who had attained these powers from demonstrating them, and discussing them with lay followers, and I have practiced meditation for thirty seven years and have not attained any of them., but this does not preclude their existance.
