I'm just looking for something to help me calm down and be a little less stressed all the time. Any ideas of what works. I already work out and all that.

I take ST Johns Wort after eating breakfast, but it is not recomended for those taking birthcontrol pills

Have you ever tried aromatherapy? You can try a body wash/ lotion that contains lavender (it's supposed to be soothing). Scented candles can also do the trick. A massage with aromatherapy oils is even better!

As for supplement--I read that Vitamin C can positively affect mood. Chocolate has also been found to stimulate chemical acitivity in the brain that enhances mood. Dark chocolate is best, as it has the best antioxidant properties. Consume in moderation though, because it is still relatively high in fat. Hope this helps.

Any harmless food supplement can work as a mood enhancer if you really believe in it. And vice versa.

if you're into aromatherapy, i like lavendar oil. it has a very calming effect for me if i dab a little on my pressure points, light a lavendar scented candle, etc. Massage is also a real stress reliever for me.

Go to the local liquor store, get your self a great bottle of Red Red Wine, then listen to some smooth Jazz on 107.5 FM. Or go to tarintinos on upper lower greenville, order some Italchos, and some red-red-wine . It works every time guaranteed!
