It means you better watch it, and tell your husband what's going on. If it is so innocent he should be able to say this in front of your husband. It could be a slight beginning of a flirt. You never know, so it's best to save your behind, and let your husband know. That way, if anything else comes up like if his friends says, "Oh, you looked great in the dress last Saturday evening". your husband will already know that he has made a comment already. Then from there let your husband handle it! In the mean time stay clear. Another thing to consider is the fact that he might really mean it! He may be in awe of you as a person, and that my friend is attraction. No matter what others may say. It can start innocent, and stay that way if you don't take it as flattery. A man knows when he has flattered a woman. So just dismiss any comments with, "Oh, thanks my husband tells me that too.!" That will keep him quiet.

Hmm I think he may be flirting with you. He is saying that he likes your personality without really saying he thinks you are attractive. Or maybe I am taking things to far and he just thinks you're a cool girl.

it means that you have an attractive personality ... if you wanna dig deeper (or into a more dangerous territory) then he sort of wished he popped the question before your husband did but please don't blame me for anything that might go wrong cause you're the one who wanted the answer!

Being a girl, I will give you the girl answer :-) He's obviously attracted to you. That can be healthy and flattering, but I wouldn't take it further than that or even dwell on it.

It is a compliment to your personality. It has nothing to do with him wanting to pick you up or make a pass at you. He admires your sense of person and he respects that.

Somewhere between hitting on you or just complimenting you on your personality. Maybe he just meant that in a "you're my friend's wife" sort of way. It's hard to tell.
