I have no clue... I'm not gay, I'm emo, emo is awesome. Don't care what other people think. You have to learn that if you're not like them or you're not perfect, they're gonna make fun of you. Life sucks, you know?

Because it seems that Emo fans thrive off of being social outcasts, or at least that's the general feeling amongst all other people.
They are called gay, because gay is a common deamening word to describe someone odd or again a "social outcast."

My daughter went from being "goth" last year to "emo" this year....I think it's just a forum for expressing a different look or state of being than what so-called "normal" society says we should all be like. I think it's alright, it's all fun and games until somebody peirces something painful.... LOL

Emos are completely and absolutely disgusting! The way they wear black and everything. And the way they cut their wrists. Its just not the type of things (AKA people) people want to be around. You know what I mean. Also, all they want is attention and if they don't get it, they kill themselves. They aren't ALL gay, but most of them are.

people make fun of emo people because they are different from them, and are all almost the exact same thing. all wear tight jeans, bandanas and heavy makeup. most people think they are gay, bc well, most are, but they also are very feminine, most straighten their hair, paint their nails, shop in the girls section of stores and act very..well, emotional.
oh and most of the time, they are spoiled kids living on their parents money to get into those scene shows.

Partially because we are mean and sterotype. But seriously that music sucks it's only meant for girls even then i break those CDs if my girlfriend gets them. Why do they have to wear girl pants and act like wosses.
I've known ppl that are emo that are ok but i told they look like a girl and i hate their music. But most are to irratating to be near

because they freak some people out. it's a rude welcome from original rock and rollers, they don't want them to be apart of rock n roll but everbody rocks out in there own way
I hope it's not the same people making fun of emos that I used to go to HS with that would have bright colored hair and crazy oversized pants, the same people rocking out when I was younger
