Yes it is a real colour. It is not a primary colour. But it is blue and red mixed together.

it's a real color, just not a primary color. it's a secondary color made by combining red & blue. & it's found on the high frequency end of the electromagnetic spectrum (hence ultra-VIOLET rays).
