Dont worry. The weirdness will go away in a few days. Maybe a couple of weeks. I have three daughters (older than you). You get used to seeing yourself one way and when you change, it takes time to get used to your new look. I too, wore a lot of eyeliner a few years ago. My girls used to tease me about it, and ask me which corner my date was taking me to!
It was hard to get used to the natural look, but you will get used to it. Now, I feel weird if I put on too much. Most girls really do look better natural. And alot more guys like natural better than a ton of make-up. Your skin will stay much nicer later in life if you don't weigh it down with alot of make-up too.
Just be your pretty self. Thats what it's really all about.

You can try a brightening eye cream around your eyes to make you look less tired if you feel you need it. Otherwise, trying other colors is fun - purple, green, and navy are always exciting! And try this as well, if you're going for a BIG change: don't use a pencil liner, but a shadow. Buy yourself an eyeliner brush (less than $8 at any five and dime), and any fun eyeshadow you like. Line your eyes with the shadow using the brush. The look is SO natural, more so than any pencil.
If you haven't found a great color you like yet, or want to experiment, try Mary Kay. They always have a 100% money back guarantee, so even after you've tried it (or used half for that matter), if you don't like it, you get your money back. For real! www.marykay.com - you can find a consultant that lives near you based on your zip code. You can order completely from her website without ever seeing her if you want, or you can get some serious personal attention to help you pick the best products for you.
Have fun :)

Well I'd have to say when you and other people are so used to seeing you look a certain way then it will take some time to get used to. Try instead of using an eyeliner, use light touch of mascara. Try using a brown shade since you want to go to the more natural look. Hope this helps!

Try and use white eyeliner and a THIN line of black eyelner where your bottom lashes are. It'll brink out your eyes by still giving the illusion of little to no makeup.
OR
You can try using a grey or charcoal colored eyeliner for a smoky look, or a light brown to still make it appear you have a darker eyeliner and at the same time look completely natural.

I use Almay liquid liner in black and draw a very thin line just where my top lashes meet my eyelid. Then I apply black mascara. It really defines my eyes, but you have to look really hard to tell I'm wearing eyeliner. It also makes my lashes look a lot thicker. Your friends will get used to it, just like they would if you dyed your hair or tried any other new look!

Try using a dab of white shadow or highlighter that you get at a pharmacy, in the very corners of your eyes to make you look more awake. Can also be used just below your eyebrows to make your eyes appear brighter. I do this everyday and have reduced the amount of makeup I used in the past.

Don't wear so much of the eyeliner. Or you could use chunky mascara instead it can really bring out your eyes with out wearing heavy eyeliner

Just dont put so much on and use less. If you opt for a lighter color such as browm or something it could look more natural also. Or, if you put it on your eyes and then take some off of it with a Q-Tip, that also does the trick! whatever you feel comfortable with!

I think it is great you are changing. Change is great. Your friends will get use to the new look. If you are ok with the new look then your friends will be to. If your looking a bit tired then put a smile on, a smile always makes everyone look bright and cheery.
