Every time i ask a question or answer a question it always seems to be to or from american people, not that i have anything against them its just i would like to know where all the brits have gone.
( and dont say to watch the world cup ).

I think that most of the people who use this site are American. At least, that's who most of the questions and answers seem to come from. It's all down to percentages. A large percentage of the people using the site are American, with a smaller percentage being from the UK. That means that you're more likely to encounter Americans.

One thing I have noticed as a result of this is that the questions that are asked and the answers that are given often seem to infer that the USA is the most important country in the world, with no appreciation for the differences in culture and opinions of other countries. This doesn't mean I'm generalising or that I have any anti-American sentiments, it's just an observation.

What I'm also not sure about is the significance of the other Yahoo! Answers sites. They all show the same questions and answers, so what's the point?

cuz they have it seperated from the other countries so you don't end up getting answers in a foreign language, scroll all the way down and it says answers international
