What i can see in this writting is an unwillingness to let go of the old way of thinking and trying a new. you are only alone by choice.ageing is a part of any thing that grows.I have used a saying that helped. i can either sit down and pout, or stand up and shout. The choice was mine to go forward.
I don't know Kurt Cobain's words but i know what down feels like,
the electric chair, hmm. that sounds almost final but not quite.

Kid, you're not as sad as you write. You can't be. Write to the height of your knowledge, you're not doing that here. Not everythign has ot rhyme.
This wasn't bad up until the last line. Let the rhyme go. It will be more of a surprise ot the reader. DON'T RHYME SO DAMN MUCH!
My assignment to you, is to try a free verse poem about something happy. Something influential in your life that has positively affected you. This is what my mentor BJ Ward told me to do and I have become the child prodigy of poetry.

Well first off, "better to burn out than fade away" is actually Neil Young... but why quibble about that. I make out from this you need to listen to some more positive music.

Sounds like a very depressed person...a soul who is weary of living, of struggling to exist.
Pity...they are blind to the best that they could become.

hmm....im not really sure. there are a lot of different things that i get from this....but mainly it sounds like someone is hurt and just doesnt care about anything anymore or maybe someone is just fed up with life all together because of past experiences.
