My mate claims to be one and he's camp as ****!!!! He says he enjoys all the things women do (he's even got a facial thing for his blackheads) but doesn't find blokes attractive. Everyone thinks he's bi, but he's never been with a lad, only about 30 girls! I hope he is bi, he's cute!!

It would depend on what you mean when you say "metrosexual". The term "metrosexual" is often applied to a man who has no sexual interest in anyone. He turns his efforts toward maintaining his appearance rather then going and 'getting laid'.

There is a such thing as good old fashioned abstinence. It may be that the term is a modern fancy term for the man who does not want to get on the promiscuity or homosexual merry-go-round.

Today culture seems geared toward forcing young people into sexual activity. They are given the choice of being promiscuous or they must be gay. This is unfair. As I said, there is a such thing as abstinence.

Yes. I would never be considered metrosexual but I know people who fall into this category and they are all straight. It's naive to make assumptions about a person's sexual preference based on how they look or behave, take Mick Jagger or Stephen Tyler's flamboyant behaviour as a reference for this.

Yes. Metrosexuals can be gay or straight. It just means they dress and groom neatly; I think it's something more straight guys should practice.

Sometimes. It depends on the person. I mean every person is different so... I dated a metrosexual, and I guarantee he wasn't gay!

Sure - or is it only the prerogative of women and gay men to make an effort to look good?

Although I admit that some of them probably are hiding their homosexuality behind this new label.

Now I finally know what this means.!!
I guess I must be one cos I'm not the least bit interested in sex with anyone or anything.
I'd rather have a steak dinner , a good bottle of red wine, read a book, and have double bed to myself.
