Yes. I've personally never had a bad experience with truck stop food. Growing up, we made two huge road trips every year to visit my grandparents. Along the way, we'd stop at a truck stop for dinner. Lunch and snacks were packed by the way, so we weren't starving. There's a lot of food, it's good, and it's also available at a very reasonable price.

Look around the restaurant at the cleanliness first.This can help determine thier level and commitment of service.
Observe the waitstaff and kitchen staff for their level of proffessionalism and last of all ak the waitress how the cook is and if he can make the Eggs right.

I went with my husband on his semi and there was a lot of stuff to eat out there. you can get a buffet and fill your own plate or order many sandwiches. there are all kinds of restaurants to choose from. we had good and some bad experiences. mostly good.

It depends some people work there cause they love it some people work there because its the only place they can get a job. Its either awesome or horrid, depends on the employees.

Ive had bad and good too. mostly good though...lots of unrecognized talent in their kitchens.
