How Long where you in labour for?
and are there any funny stories to go with it!

I was only in labor for 4.5 hours, not too bad at all for my first one. I didn't yell or scream at all, but in the middle of pushing and grunting I let out a huge burp then a tiny little "excuse me" then started pushing and grunting again!

#1 I went into labour on my own 3 days late I was in labour for 15 hrs.
#2 I was induced 3 days early because I had gained so much wait and retained so much water that my feet was almost triple there normal size and I had her in just 2 hrs and 44 min.
#3 I was induced a week early because of his heart rate and lack of movement and I was in labor for almost 5 hrs
no funny stories I gave birth naturally and I wasn't in the mood for anyone to even speak while in the room.

My labor really wasn't that bad about 13 hours but only about 3 hours of over the top pain! yeah when your talking labor 3 hours is a short time. Then it only took 3 pushes and my son was out. My hair was still done!!! My friends always tell me to lie because my entire pregnancy was that way...smooth sailing! I didn't even start to swell until 2 weeks before I had him. I even worked til the day I went into labor! Sorry no horror story here.

I have four children and was in labor for 38.5 hours, 1 hour 42 min, 3.5 hours, and 7 hours. Quite honestly, I found absolutely nothing funny about being in labor for 38.5 hours. But the others were a walk in the part. The funniest (embarrassing) thing that happened to me in labor was while I was pushing my daughter out and had a bm right there with my legs up in stirrups. It was mortifying but 7 yrs later the humiliation is gone.

#1 in labour for 49 hours, ouch!
#2 no labour, had emergency c-section due to blood clots, bad stuff!
#3 induced, 4 hours later had an emergency
c-section cause baby didn't like the contractions, his heart rate kept dropping with each one.
I wish I had funny stories to go with these babies, I did nearly break a few hands with my first one though!

With my first child I went into labor on a Thursday morning. I was actually scheduled to go in to be induced at noon that day. I went into labor my own and was admitted to the hospital at about ten in the morning. It wasn't progressing fast enough so they started inducing shortly after one. I labored all day. That night after ten they gave me a shot to help me sleep and stopped the induction hoping that I would wake up in the middle of the night in full labor myself. I didn't. Six o'clock the next morning they started inducing all over again. 9:20 Friday night after over 36 hours of labor I had a c-section. I was just thankful that with the rest of my children I could just opt to have a c-section and never have to go through that again.

Well for my first I was in labor for 16 hours and for my second I was in labor for 4 1/2 hours not to bad. I don't think being in labor is that bad.......As long as an epidural is administered. God Bless the anesthesiologist.

I was in labor for 17 hours with my first. 15 hours with my second. I did not realize I was close with my second and she was born in the car! My first girl was in the front seat and she wanted to hold the baby!
With my 3rd I was in labor for only 11 hours. With the 4th one I was in labor for 33 hours!

I suppose by labor you mean the fnal stag eof labor..(the painful part where contractions are every 5 minutes apart?)
Well my first one lasted for 3 hours
My second one 20-something hours
Ugh.

my wife was in labour for 20 mins and baby was delivered at home by me, took 7 mins after for the ambulance to arrive
