I'd like to let the poster above me know that Wal-mart (at least on Long Island.. and probably other areas as well) pay more than Target, but Wal-mart gets more bad press because it's the big guy.
I personally prefer Wal-mart. I do agree with the person that said service can be better at Target, but it really depends on a store to store basis. Every store has it's dedicated, great employees, and the people that just don't really care.

walmart is better when it comes to variety of products offered. but when it comes to values and service i prefer target.

Target is best if for no other reason then that they don't expect their employee's for get food stamps and live off the taxpayer.If you care how your taxes are spent, don't shop at Walmart (ChinaMart)
