i think that the earth is not round it is oval this is because of the pull of gravity present in the earth a good example to tell you is about a cricket ball when a batsmen hits the ball hard up in the air it is surely going to come down it is because of the gravitational pull present in the earth. if there was no gravity the ball would be flying up in the air like an air balloon.
