What does it taste like to smoke?

I have no desire to smoke, just wondering.

First of all it depends on what you are smoking. Different types of tobaccos have different flavours. There are far to many types of tobacco to list here, not to mention that you could be smoking a cigar, cigarette, hookah, pipe or hand rolled cigarette.

For the sake of this question, lets assume that you are asking about smoking a non-menthol cigarette. It pretty much tastes like musky burning leaves. The taste isnt that bad, the smell it leaves on your fingers is even worse. The first puff probably tastes the best and then its all down hill from there.

Yes, really nasty tasting, then its nasty to kiss someone who smokes too, and their clothes smell nasty too.

I was 16 when I tried my first cigarette. I tried twice, but they both tasted completely like ashes. I later on had a girlfriend who smoked and when I kissed her. It tasted like kissing ashes.

It's totally nasty. But if you can get past that, it gets better after about 20 times. Then you can "enjoy" the effect of the drug...
