I tried the symbol you suggested, and it isn't traded on the NYSE or the Nasdaq. Obviously, .pk stands for another country, and at this moment I don't know which one. A good rule of thumb is, if you EVER receive an e-mail about a stock, it's a scheme called a pump and dump:

1. I buy 1,000 shares of XYZ at about a nickel apiece.
2. I hire somebody to send out an e-mail extolling the virtues of XYZ, and kicking up a huge fuss that this company "should" be up to $1.50 a share within, say a week. (the Pump)
3. It takes less people than you may think to start rallying a stock, so my thousand shares that were a nickel apiece two weeks ago are suddenly trading over 80 cents. I sell, having made a 1,400% profit. (people holding the stock when the rally is over are in the Dump)

I personally would never buy a stock somebody told me about, because I'd be getting it at retail price. I prefer buying a bargain. Hope that helps.
