Even the actors in the matches admit it is fake.
You still have to be physically fit to participate.

I suppose. It's branded sports entertainment for a reason. It's not a real fight, it's scripted to the point where the wrestlers have a general idea of what's going on, who does what when, how long the match should last and who wins. The injuries suffered are very real, well okay some are just storyline based, but you have to expect with human bodies being thrown around, slammed, rammed into guardrails and steps, thrown into tables (yes they may be partially broken before they hit it but they really do go through them) The human body is not invincible and the injuries these people suffer ARE legitimate. The story however is simply shock\entertainment value.

I produced a wrestling radio show on WHBI in the 70's early 80's and its as fake as can be!

I used 2 enjoy wrestling but it became more predictable and fake then it seemed like it was for kids so i stopped watching it.

It's as fake as Lita's boobs. I can predict what's going to happen weeks before hand. I liked wrestling in the 1980's. At least back then they tried to make it look real.

The wrestling part is some real and some fake. But everyone knows all the WWE, ECW, & TNA is are soap opeas for men. Every single one of them have different story lines...

It's fake because sometimes,those superstars don't bleed,but superstars do bleed sometimes by themselves.You do have a point though because superstars actually get injured.I remember when kane did a tombstone pile driver to lita,her head wasn't poked out,it was behind kane.when triple h hit ric flair with a sledge hammer,he had his hand covering it.Now boxing,its real.

It's fake, just watch it for the story lines, but that's getting pretty bad lately....
