turn it around on them

tell them to have their wives/girlfriends/daughters to come to work with them and if they say it is okay the men can get buck naked and shake their mini-coopers until the sun doesn't shine but you still won't lower yourself to their level.

If you humor even one of them once by laughing at their stupid little remarks they will only continue to get worse.

You are sending mixed messages. You're indirectly telling the men that SOME sexual comments are okay, but others are not. This kind of perpetrates the stereotype that women can't make up their minds.

You need to put a stop to ALL the sexual behaviour. There is no reason to change jobs or employers- you just need to change your attitude and approach to dealing with your male colleages. Next time someone makes a sexual comment, don't smile or laugh. Instead, say, "Actually, I would prefer if we didn't make sexual jokes anymore." If it happens again from the same person, say, "You know, that kind of sexual harassment could really get you into trouble. You should watch what you say." The third time, talk to your supervisor. You need to deal directly with the offenders and let them know that as a PROFESSIONAL you should not be subjected to sexual commentary.

Threaten with a sexual harrassment suit, that will shut their traps big time. But then again, as being the only female, you gotta expect that it comes with the territory. Either let it go through one ear and out the other, develop an iron back bone, or tell their girlfriends or wives on them via recording their comments.

As a former Navy CB - the only female in a 60 man unit - I know what you're dealing with.

In the end it's your decision, but I would suggest making your stand now. If you run from the situation, you'll never really learn to deal with it.

Just next time when someone tells you any sexual comment ask them if they were ever sued for sexual harassment. If they say no then tell them if they say one more word to you inappropriately they will get the feeling of it. Stand for your grounds. If you like your job why would you want to change it?

tell all this to your boss. i've delt with female employees in my kitchen, and trust me at a professional kitchen women are treated like **** until they put their foot down. the ones that just quit never came to me with their problems. you're coworkers might not take you seriously, but they'll take the boss seriously. i don't have a problem ringing the necks of my employees. but the only way i know there's a problem among them is when they come to me. i'm too busy. just tell the boss.

sue the bastard. he's treated you like an object that exists for his personal desires.

i worked in a bodyshop for a while. i laughed about it a little, but that makes it okay. when i stopped laughing and made it clear that they shouldn't say anything to me that they wouldn't say to their sister, it stopped.
