I would buy only small objects that require personal inspection from door-to-door salespeople. A door-to-door salesperson has a very limited inventory. The bigger the object, the fewer the choices they can carry around, and the only real benefit to door to door sales is that you can see what you're looking at.

By mail order, I would buy mainly things that are nearly impossible to find, but which are more or less interchangeable. My weird movies, my rare books, and my hard to find hardware.

Don't buy anything from a door to door sales person.
Buy all my cosmetics by mail from Yves Rocher.
their products are the best all natural and not tested on animals

i dont think i would buy anything from a door-to-door salesperson. i think they are pushy. i buy a lot of things over the internet or through catalogs of stores that i know.
