i'm thinking of getting one once i'm out of the house cuz my mom doesn't aprove at all. she thinks they're vulgar. i think not. i think they're pretty cool and having one would b pretty sexy on me.

Before I accepted Jesus as my savior I had a piercing but now that I know I was bought a price I took all of them out

Naval piercing is like, total no. It may seem pretty cool and all, but you might start to get infection and some ppl might think you're a bad person just by piercing stuff in your body besides the regular pierced ears. Um, you should really listen to your mom because she is doing the best for you wheter you like it or not.

I have had my naval pierced for at least 10 years and it's fine. I like it because it's a discreet piercing and can easily be hidden in professional situations. Go for it but be sure to take care of it while it heals. If for some reason you don't like it you can always take it out. That's the good thing about piercing versus tattoos - tattoos are expensive & painful to remove, piercings are not.

No, cause everybody does piercing and tatoos. It's better to not have one cause you'd show your not trying hard to fit in and be like everyone else.

Besides old people look disgusting with any marks on their body whether excessive piercings, tans, or whatever

i think there ok on the right people like for instance you see a girl that has one and she is showing it of by wering short shirts but all her fat is hanging out. to me thats just descusting. but if you are not exactly like that i think it is fine. i have one!!! and like the other girl said go somwhere proffesinal there is a less chance of it getting infected and stuff like that if you go to a professinal place!!!

my mom was the same way and when i was 18 i had it done but for 3 years i hid it and when she saw it she said ' well it doesn't look that bad' here i was hiding it for nothing... just make sure that you get a good person and that do a good job. i think they look great!!

well its ok if you show it at the right times like lets say your job hunting you have to not show your pearcing because that will show your not professional when they are interviewing you. and if your just wanting to go out and have fun thats a time to show it remember only show it at times when it is not play time or fun time you know what i mean dont show it at times when it comes to real realty and jugments.
