Don't roast the sunflower seed or cook them. You can purchase the sunflower seeds at any garden outlet or whole foods store.

Yes. Put 4 or 5 seeds in a small hole in the grund 2inches below
in the soil . Water often unless it rains a lot in your area.
If all seeds sprout thin them out at and plant at least 10 inches
apart to allow proper growth. Pick a sunny location, or put in a big flowerpot in the sun and watch them grow.
